Slovak Institute of Metrology

Slovak Institute of metrology as national metrology institution carries out activities within competences of a State Administration body, scientific, research, norm-setting activities as well as direct services related to submission of units, physical and technical quantities´ scales and certificated reference materials. In compliance with long-term mission the main attention is oriented to handle tasks to develop, improve and maintain national etalons and to harmonize their quality with etalons of the other national metrology institutions. An important part of institute’s activities is made by metrology services which are provided on high professional level.
